These days it’s all Wyntr for me. We’re a hard rock band based in Ottawa, Canada featuring Ryan Conway on vocals and guitar, Lorne Keefe on Drums and myself on bass. Our first full length album Amps & Lamps was released in the summer of 2022 and can be found on all the online platforms. Every now and then I’ll strike out on my own with a ‘solo bass’ project. Typically they’re layered bass melodies over some synths and programmed drums but there’s no hard and fast rule, just whatever strikes my fancy as I’m writing them. There’s also no particular schedule to when I release these but when I do I’ll be sure to mention them here!
Sometime around New Year’s of 2022 I was invited to take part in a collaboration with Tim Connors a.k.a The Liquid Edge to record a cover of Soundgarden’s Black Hole Sun. It features Jasen Colsen on vocals, Tim Connors on the acoustic guitar, Steve Milley on electric guitar, Matt Babineau on drums and myself on bass. I think it turned out pretty darn good! Ariel’s Attic was a progressive metal studio project featuring Jenn Hailey on vocals, Mike Olson on guitar and keys, Gary Campbell on guitar and myself on bass and keys. CBR2 was a mostly instrumental online collaboration I was an involved with several years ago. It featured Rob Robertson on lead guitar, Craig Curie on rhythm guitar, Dave Perrault on drums and myself on bass. A few songs also featured Billy Petit on vocals
